Flowers Blooming, Fashion Booming
Fly by Fashion once again hosted its annual spring fashion show. This year's theme shows that as we transition into spring the flowers bloom and new fashion trends arise contributing to a boom in the fashion industry. Our company reached out to eleven local boutiques, including teen-owned, for their clothing to be shown in our fashion show. Many weeks leading up to this event were spent organizing, planning, and promoting.
This year our fashion show had a new eco-friendly segment which included 100% thrifted outfits. We also worked with a business partner Rumbler Records, another company working out of Mount St. Mary Academy, who got people to perform between our lines. The fashion show was set up as each boutique had its time slot in the show, one of the amazing vocalists would sing, and then the next boutique would be presented. In between all of those, different members of Fly By Fashion and Rumbler Records who were a key part in the planning process of the show introduced themselves and discussed their vital role.

Along with Fly By Fashion and Rumbler Records, we hosted a small apparel and design business started up by Fly By Fashion team member, Isabelle Haney, called designs_byizzy. Izzy set up a table that hosted shirts she had designed for Rumbler Records, Fly By Fashion, and Heart for Sale available for purchase. Fly By Fashion was super excited to provide this opportunity to our fellow team member to help promote her business!

The featured boutiques in the fashion show were Happy Craft Company, HerStory, Rensstyles, Feisty Shamrock, and Designs by Izzy. Fly By Fashion loves to create opportunities for small local boutiques to promote their brand and gain more customers! Our team upholds the goal of providing areas for smaller, local businesses to grow while also growing Fly By Fashion’s brand. A big thank you to these boutiques for supporting our show and providing the clothing for our models to wear!
